Besim Zekath was born on 5 February 1936 in Tirana, the dancer, master of the popular Albanian dance, the unmatched solist of the Song and Folk Dances Ensabbles, who shone particularly on popular dances “The Albanian Eagles” and “now has Albania” and was among the main protagonists who gave our country's Golden Generate festival in France in 1970.

From 1957 to 1990, the Grand Master” Besim Zekth performed in more than 200 solist dances, featuring hundreds of artistic figures, which are photographed in the artistic memory of all his worshipers throughout Albanian generations. His career marks success not only on Albanian trains, but around the world, where with the People's Songs and Dances Ensembles Ensembles, Besim Zekath “gave voice and soul” to our traditional dance and music.

His artistic life is closely linked to the artistic life of Song and Folk Dance Ansabler, not only as a dancer but a series of dances are created by him and today are successfully interpreted by AKVP artists as part of the golden fund of our cultural heritage.
