The Kosovo Gastronomies Association has demanded that the decision to open nightclubs be revised.

Through a Facebook post, this association says that the effects of the virus in the gastronomic sector and especially in nightclubs are great.

After most of the activities in Kosovo have only begun work, we are only in nightclubs that we are still carrying on our shoulders the financial consequences and commercial fatality of this virus. We had thousands of employees and millions of euros in investments, these thousands of young people working on us, and we didn't even feel the hand of the state one day when they needed it most correctly, we tell you that you lost your patience”, the report says.

According to the Society, other gatherings and manifestations taking place in the country are no less dangerous than the activity of nightclubs, which they say could be set up security measures and continue working.

They have demanded that their opening be allowed on July 1st, otherwise they have warned more radical steps.

It's not fair that only we get punished. We expect that our legitimate request will meet in agreement by the end of the week of June 19th, 2020, or we are otherwise publicly declared that after this date we do not take responsibility for: credit to commercial banks, obligations to ATK, duties for rents to the AKP and private tenants, workers' salaries, other financial obligations”, the report said.
