The geographical distribution of 77 cases is the following: Tirana 28 cases, Shkodra 13 cases, Durres and Korca with 5 cases; 4 cases of Delvina and Berat; 3 cases in Fier, Kurbin and Puka; 2 cases in Elbasan and Kamuz; 1, respectively, in Kruja, Tropoj, Libred, Gjirokastra, Saranda.
And for the two victims the ministry announces: A 76-year-old from Tirana, with several co-operative diseases, after improved after 15 days of treatment, has suffered pulmorary trobemboli. And a 54-year-old in serious condition, with renal insulin, has passed away in hospital emergency. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
The situation is seriously presented at the efficient hospital, where 87 patients are currently being treated, 15 of them are in intensive therapy, while 2 are assembled.

According to the ministry, this situation is directly related to the epidemiological criteria, such as the long period of 14-day incubation, as well as the failure to comply with measures imposed to cut the virus's transmission.

The epidemiological situation in the country is under way in the 16th week of the epidemic, but in the last three weeks, we have a high intensity of facing positive cases with Covid19. We also have a high number of cases requiring hospital treatment and intensive therapy. This situation is directly related to the epidemiological criteria, such as the long period of 14 - day incubation, as well as the failure to comply with measures imposed to disrupt the virus's transmission.
So the Ministry of Health and Social Defence appeals to all citizens, businesses, institutions, respect the established measures and adopted security protocols, as the only way to protect yourself and your relatives.
During the last 24 hours, unfortunately, two citizens have failed to win the battle with the disease despite great medical assistance and medical treatment.

The good news is that in the last 24 hours, 48 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cured since the beginning of the epidemic to 1298.
In the meantime, tests have followed at the Virology Laboratory in the ISHP, and over the last 24 hours have been conducted 402 tests to suspects affected by Covid19, of which 77 positive cases have been confirmed.
