Croatia is not ready for the eurozone

Croatian trade unions President Vilim Ribiq has rejected the warned euro presentation and Croatia's entry into the eurozone. Ribiq, who is also a member of the National Council for adoption of the euro, believes not only that Croatia is not ready for the eurozone, but that too is not ready for Croatia. [...]
Ribiq, who is also a member of the National Council for adoption of the euro, believes not only that Croatia is not ready for the eurozone, but that even the latter is not ready for Croatia, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
Since there has never been an honest discussion in public media with representatives of a different opinion on the topic of introduction of the euro, it is necessary to warn of the possible catastrophic consequences of the Croatian government's reckless haste in the eurozone, Ribiq says.
With entry into the eurozone, it is not possible to get out of it without pain if we find out later that it was the wrong decision like Greece. We need to have an earlier note, like other EU countries, which deliberately hinders their entry into the eurozone: Czechia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Sweden, Denmark. Until recently, only two EU countries have worked intensively on the introduction procedure of Croatia and Bulgaria, and now only Croatia remains after Bulgarians have slowed”, Ribiq warns.
He stresses that more and more Croatian parties are trying to slow down entry into the eurozone, as the country is not ready, however, according to him, they have not yet noticed the full risk that the eurozone is not ready for Croatia.
The informed politicians know that the euro project has not been put on healthy feet, and that is why those countries are preventing or giving up their admission to the eurozone,” stresses Ribiq.
