Kosovo police have detailed the case of two children who lost their lives in a well in Milosevo.
Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Kelani has also clarified that the case has been described as a murder investigation.
He has provided details showing that initially three children had entered the well, while two of them had failed to come out and died.
Kelani has also indicated that the first child was taken out of a peasant, but unfortunately the first aid given by him and the Kosovo police has failed to save lives.
He has also shown that children are between 9 and 11 years of age, and the same have family ties or friendships between themselves.
Allow me on behalf of the Kosovo police to express condolences to the family. In this case, described as an investigation into death, two children have lost their lives. First I want to tell you that the Kosovo police around 1500 have admitted to the information that in an artificial lake behind us, 3 children have gone to wash and the first information says that 2 of them have entered the lake and couldn't get out, then a peasant here has taken action and one has managed to get out of the river. The police have arrived at the scene, tried to provide first aid, unfortunately in this case it has been found to have lost its life. About 5:10 a.m., the second child has been released. At the scene, all necessary teams and KSF emergency teams have made it impossible for children to find and escape this lake, but two children have unfortunately lost their lives. One of them has managed to escape. It's about kids between the ages of 9 and 11. The first information shows that they have family ties or friendships between themselves but that's just the first”, Kelani said.
