Cakaj says he has never seen Kosovo partition plan

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Albania's Government Gent Cakaj, in an interview for Online Gazette öporter.net has said he has never seen a map or a plan to divide Kosovo. Minister Cakaj says that since 2017 he has been in high-level meetings, but this has not been discussed [...]

Minister Cakaj says he's been in high-level meetings since 2017, but this has never been discussed.

I'm telling you something about a complete truth, and who else says it's a lie. With the prime minister of the Republic of Albania, I have been at all meetings in Berlin since 2017. Under no circumstances, no one has unveiled a plan for partitioning Kosovo, ever. Not at all. Never. Even I personally as foreign minister has not been cleared for a split plan”, Minister Cakay told Reporter.net.

Cakaj has been asked if he has seen “thics on maps”, as former Prime Minister Kurti has said, but says he has not seen maps at any meeting and has demanded that those who have seen them speak, alluding to VV officials.

If they have seen, let them show where they saw them. Personally I have not seen a map and no one has unveiled any plans for partitioning Kosovo, and that is documented. Let's show who they are, under what circumstances, who made that deal...”, he added.
