Hoti has said consultations have been held with all ministries and municipalities, and efforts have been made not to affect capital projects.
“The minister, along with relevant departments within the ministry, has had to do the necessary arrangements amounting to 700m euros to cover even the lack of revenues of several hundred million euros and to create the fund for economic recovery that we have envisioned in our government programme. While I have been informed that consultations have been held with each one of you and with the municipalities, which, at best, as far as it is possible not to affect capital projects as a whole”, Hoti said.
The budget issue was not in order day at yesterday's government meeting, but the chief executive has indicated that the meeting will be held for today with this point where it will also come out for the vote.
