Along with the publication, more than 120 prominent scientists raised questions about the data used in the study, coming from a private company-led database, “Surgisphere”.
On this study, international drug tests were cut off, though some in the United States continued. President Donald Trump himself declared that he took the drug he called a turning point in hopes of preventing infection.
