Speaking on Tuesday to the United Nations health agency, Tedros Guhbraesus said that the global situation of pandemic is deteriorating.
More than 7 million cases infected with coronarys have been reported on the global level, as well as 408,000 casualties. Although the situation in Europe is improving, at the global level it does not seem to be toward improvement. More than 100,000 new cases have been reported every day for the past two weeks. We've noticed that 75% of these cases come from 10 countries, mostly from America and South Asia. Many countries in the African region are also experiencing an increase of” cases, said Tedros Ghebrreesus.
He also on this occasion encouraged all states around the world to focus on positive signs and continue to practice all protective measures against the Coronervirus.
