Bettel: Law rule, essential step for Kosovo on its European path

Luxembourg continues to support Kosovo's European perspective, and in this direction, I look forward to seeing the quick resumption of the Pristina dialogue Belgrade facilitated by the EU to help achieve a comprehensive normalisation of relations.

So said Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel of the Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti.

This letter says:

Dear Prime Minister,

Let me, on behalf of Luxembourg's Grand Duke, and in my personal name, warmly congratulate you on your appointment, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

Luxembourg is a partner and permanent friend of Kosovo, and I hope that together we will further strengthen the ties between our countries and our peoples and continue our fruitful bilateral co-operation.

I also hope to see a continuation of reform efforts in the justice sector and especially in the fight against corruption and organised crime, since rule of law is an essential step for Kosovo on its European path.
