Hoti may have a fairly old name (Avdulah), but he turns out to be younger than Prime Minister Kurti by the name Albin.
Avdullah Hoti was born on February 4, 1976, meaning that he is 44th and 4 months old. Albin Kurti, on the other hand, is 45 years and 2 months, and by the time he took office, he was 44 and 10 months old, writes Periscopi.
This makes Hotin the youngest prime minister Kosovo has had since Independence, on February 17, 2008.
Since then, the country had two governments led by Hashim Thaci, a government led by Isa Mustafa and another led by Ramush Haradinaj.
But Kosovo's newest prime minister was Hashim Thaci, who is currently 52 years old.
Thaci was born 24 April of 1968, meaning that after the war as prime minister of an interim government he was only 32 years old.
Age has been an important element in debates among politicians in Kosovo, many of whom have been charged with advancing age or even youth. /Periscope
