The European Commission approved today tax schemes for Italy worth 7.6 billion euros to support self-employed companies and workers.
The commission gave its approval for four measures that remove certain taxes and provide tax loans to self-employed companies and workers.
“The measures will support companies and workers, which are most seriously affected by the explosion of COVIDD-19”, said Eurocommissioner for Competition Margrethe Westage.
The EC estimated the measures were needed to correct serious concerns in the economy. / DPA/
