The American lawyer of Croatian origin, Luka Misetic, has said that the Specialised Prosecutor who has published the indictment against KLA's political leaders, Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselini, probably committed a criminal offence.
If the Kosovo Specialised Prosecutor's Office has not received permission from a judge to disclose confidential indictment, there is a question of whether the prosecutor himself committed a crime by publishing confidential information. The Specialised Prosecutor's Office is subject to criminal persecution for illegal publishing”, says former Croatian General Ante Gotovina's attorney, who was acquitted by The Hague's Special Tribunal for War Crimes.
Misetic has even connected several photos to his post in Titeter, which shows the laws under which the Specialised Prosecutor dares not reveal the charges without a prior permission from the judge.
The Special Prosecutor made it known after the discovery of the indictment against Thaci and Wessel that he had done so because there were facts that people in question were trying to sabotage the work of the Special Court.
