American professor and Western Balkan expert Alon Ben Meir is not seeing it as a favour to President Donald Trump in the election if during his mandate the conflict between Kosovo and Serbia would be resolved.
According to him, the American public is unaware of the conflict between Kosovo and Serbia, and people are not even discussing it.
Through a post in Titter, he writes that in such a situation, even the final Kosovo- Serbia would not help Trump in the elections.
Kosovo is not a major conflict spoken of. The American public is unaware of this conflict. It's not that both sides are currently at war or people are being killed right now. Even if Trump reached any agreement, it would not help him in the election”, he wrote on Titter.
In contrast, there has been a lot of speculation in Kosovo that the insistence of Trump through the special minister of dialogue, Richard Green, is in a hurry to reach an agreement before the US election, which they think would give an advantage to the current American president.
