Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti, as he spoke of increasing cases with Coronavirus, said the situation is under control and there is no need to take other measures, Online Economy reports.
In his view, citizens are mostly contributing to the management of the situation.
I don't think there will be any more movement than the last few days. You know that the Government has decided to remove all measures that are in force except large gatherings, where there may be more than 50 people at a small distance and we still tell you that the best protection of the virus is the distance and the gloves that IKSP says is a protection measure”, Ahmeti said.
I don't believe, we've had discussions at the Ministry of Health and IKSP, they're institutions that decide. I don't think there'll be reruns of the measures except that we lose total control. After reopening into the third wave, of course there are expected to be a greater number of cases, but the good news is that we do not have serious cases and no fatalities from this pandemic. I believe that the situation is under control and that's why citizens are contributing at least”.
The capital's first comment made the measure with his cabinet, paid tribute to the Witnesses' cemetery on the June 11th-Day of Pristina Liberation.
On this occasion he has said that they have organized certain activities, but because of the pandemic, their numbers are smaller.
“Today we mark Pristina's day on the 21st anniversary when Pristina is free and we as the Communists honor the martyrs who have given their lives, the sacrifice that one man can give to a”.
And we're also thinking about getting the project from the ministry to fix the rest below”.
“Today, it is still pandemic, so we have not been able to organize activities. We will also organise several activities, as with the KSF parade and several other activities”, Ahmeti said.
We will also make the discovery of the new logo for Pristina, which will help tourism in Pristina”, he said.
