78 new Corleone cases in Albania, record Shkodra

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection lets you know the epidemiological situation in the country, which follows that there are new hospital stays, follows the increase of individuals affected almost all over Albania.

So we invite each citizen to be careful about maintaining personal hygiene, keeping distance, putting the mask in public environments.

During the last 24 hours, 344 tests have been conducted for suspects affected by Covid19, of which 78 positive cases have been confirmed.

Much of the daily cases relate to contacts of previous positive cases, as the investigation into new cases continues.

The highest number of daily affects has Shkodra on 14 occasions, in Kruja 13 have been identified, Tirana has 12 cases, 9 have been identified in Puka, 6 in Delvian, out of four cases in Gjirokastra, Vlora, Kukes, from 2 cases in Kamez, Durres, Fier, and from 1 case respectively in Kurbin, Korce, Cavaj, Lushnje, Mirdita, Pogradec.

While 76 patients are currently being treated at the infectious hospital, 14 of them are in intensive therapy, while 2 are assembled.

The good news is that 33 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured since the beginning of the epidemic to 1250.

In our country, there are currently 894 active people with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Durres.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection is directed to all citizens to respect the measures imposed, while businesses implement the approved security protocols.
Citizens, keep your hands clean and don't touch your face.
Wash your hands as often as possible for at least 20 seconds.
Keep your physical distance in public environments.

Wherever this is not possible, wear a mask or a protective barrier.
Businesses regularly provide hygiene items such as soap, hand - cleaning paper, disinfectant.

Provide good ventilation, cleaning and disinfecting working environments.
Use protective masks or barriers while serving citizens.
Task the anti-David force will not tolerate violations of security regulations, considering it a danger to the health of citizens.

The Social Health and Protection Minister tells citizens to avoid meeting places as a source of infection.
