Although LDK leaders have been declared to have secured the votes for the government's vote, analyst Faton Abdullahu tells Kosovo Press that due to some unprincipled demands by MPs even cannot be voted on.
“Calculations that are made by even the various statements of some MPs, which for different reasons, but not for public interests. Not for public interests not to let Kurti government continue, or for similar principles. But because of the calculations that seem to their interests, they're always not in public interest, but another nature seems to have been questioned by the Hoti government... for me because of these deals, because of these not taking the demands of some MPs who are not always unprincipled and public, and it may fail this government”, he says.
But otherwise, the other political analyst, Ramush Tahiri, who tells Kosovo that 63 MPs will vote for the Hoti Government.
I expect that in 63 votes the government will be elected, then we will have the new Avdullah Hoti government and we will have the normal transition of power change... if this government is not voted for any reason, not that the meeting stops, but that it doesn't have the 61 votes at least as required then the president automatism distributes the Parliament and the country goes to extraordinary elections of 40 days”, Tahir said.
LDK Parliamentary Group chief Arben Gashi after yesterday's meeting of the Parliamentary Headship made it clear that they have enough votes for the Hoti Government.
“We are convinced that we have enough votes to form the government ... We are convinced it will not fail, and we are convinced that tomorrow we will have government”, Gashi said.
The Constitutional Court decided last week in favour of President Hashim Thaci's decree on the name of Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti for the formation of the new government. The Democratic League of Kosovo, after the dismissal of the Kurti Government, has reached coalition agreements with the AAK, Initiative and non-m majority communities.
