According to preliminary estimates, the number of paid persons dropped by 2.1 per cent, or 62,000 in May compared to March.
The number of people who left work temporarily increased by six million from March to April.
Great Britain is one of the most affected countries in Europe and the world. So far, 41,736 dead and 296,857 infected persons have been registered in this country.
