This year 6 thousand students less than last year in UP

Over 6 thousand less students this year have Pristina University compared to the 2017/2018 academic year.

Until two years ago the largest public university at the Bachelor level, master and doctorate had 42 thousand and 6 students, this year only has 35 thousand and 930, KTV reports.

The economic faculty has long been the academic unit with mostly students. According to Dean But Deday, three years ago they had up to 13 thousand students, until this year there are only 5 thousand and 500. The principal cause of the decline in this issue, he says, is the departure of students abroad.

The number of students has declined in recent years. According to University data, in 2017/2018 there were 3 thousand 802 students in this academic unit, as long as there are 2 thousand and 673 or over a thousand less this year.
