The Pec municipality is currently among the municipalities with mostly infected cases with Covid-19 on the country level. Where 35 new cases have been recorded in just five days.
In addition to the widespread distribution of cases with Ovid 19, the municipality is also facing a lack of emergency vehicles.
The Director of Health and Social Management in the Pec municipality, Petrit Loci, in an interview for Kosovo, expects to increase the infection grounds in Pec to concern you, while stressing that out of 35 affected are in serious health.
We've actually got 35 people with Covid-19 that are all in the last five days. Their state of health is relatively good and most of them are in self-isolation in their homes, while 2 of them are at the infectious clinic in a slightly more serious state of health”, he said.
As he talks about the condition of those affected by Corleone, he told Kosova Preiss that they lack emergency vehicles, which, according to him, cannot perform time services.
“We, as the municipality of Peja, need logistics more, can say more, are in poor condition with regard to the logistics of the state's emergency vehicles, as these past few times the movement to the infectious clinic has been several times during the day, and because of the amortisation of vehicles we have had extremely serious problems. As far as the rescue material is concerned, we are stable”, he said.
The first health in this municipality, says the demand for testing is huge, but consider testing should only be done in cases of need.
The demand for citizens is to run more tests, but not always doing tests affects risk reduction or lowering the number of affected. It is better to perceive and invest in that to have as many citizens as they contribute to safety measures themselves than to require testing. Testing is done only when necessary is presented, so when we have positive cases”, he said.
He added that previous measures should not be returned for the prevention of David-19, but that citizens, according to him, should show greater caution. /
