22 thousand Kosovars went to Albanian coast this weekend

About 22 thousand people have left Kosovo through border points and entered Albania this weekend. The high number of cases is being recorded in Kosovo, where 96 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded only on weekends, while in Albania on Saturday 53 cases, on Sunday 71 and today 33 cases. But these alarming figures have not stopped Kosovars from visiting the coast in Albania. The weekend has even been overloaded for Kosovo-Albania border points. According to Kosovo Police statistics, the day when the largest number of people to have gone to Albania has been Saturday, where 8 thousand and 462 persons have emerged from Kosovo. In general, however, there are 22 thousand people who have left Kosovo through border points and headed Albania over the weekend.

According to police data for these two days only at the border points in the west, over 10,000 people have entered Kosovo, as well as around 10,000 have emerged. Official records over the weekend have introduced 40,000 and 111 cars and 114 trucks, as well as 3,000 and 24 vehicles and 60 trucks.
