Kosovo Democratic Party Chairman Kadri Veselini has remembered the massacres in the villages of Peja.

21 years earlier, Serbian forces had massacred 138 civilian Albanians in the villages of Sic, Zahaq, Labijan and Pavlan of Pec.

On the 21st anniversary of this massacre, Democratic Party of Kosovo head Kadri Veseli has said that the crimes of that day are crimes against humanity that have not yet paid off, and many of the criminals that have caused them are still at large, writes news.net.

Through a post in his official profile on the social network Facebook, Wessel stressed that these massacres are war crimes that weigh even on the international conscience, so as he said his initiative on the tribunall that would put those criminals to justice should be supported by all and materialised as soon as possible.

Wessel's full delivery, without interference:

On May 14th 1999, Serbia's police and military forces have brutally slaughtered 138 civil Albanians in the villages of Sik, Zahaq, Labijan and Pavlan of Pec. This has been one of the most tragic events suffered by our people during the Kosovo war.

Among the innocent victims was my friend's father and fellow fighter Agim Ceku, one of the most deserving of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Dawn faced this serious event heroicly, and pain turned her into strength to fight against her enemies.

The crimes of that day are crimes against humanity that have not yet paid off, and many of the criminals that have caused them are still at large. They are war crimes that weigh even in the international conscience, so my initiative for the tribulal that would put those criminals to justice should be supported by all and materialize as quickly as possible.
