Deputy Minister of Finance and Transfers Ilir Aliu said the government has formed the commission, which has prepared the package plan for economic recovery.
According to him, this package will be realised through credit, grants and some subsidies.
The way we've approached the problem is in two phases, the first phase has been emergency, where businesses and people who most need, different social levels. The aim of the fiscal emergency package has been like a bridge to overcome the evil and then come in the package of economic recovery”.
“We are actively working on package design, we have invited various local and international experts. There's a commission formed that's been led by me. Pako will be manifold than the emergency package will be with a lot of 1.1 billion euros”.
The “will be comprehensive where all businesses in Kosovo will be involved. Details are expected to be discovered in next week, but a plan has been made that will help Kosovo recover”, he said.
Aliu announced that loans that will be issued by commercial banks and guaranteed by the Government through the subsidy of interest.
“My devices will be distributed in the form of credit, some will be grants and some subsidies. We have taken over that loans issued by commercial banks will be guaranteed by the government. It's going to be the subsidy of the interest, some of it will be grants”.
Among other things, Aliu pointed out that the package is not delayed, as according to him, businesses are still not fully developing their activity as the cause of stoppages for the prevention of Covid-19.
Ali reiterated that next week it will become known how the package will be executed and who it is dedicated to.
I don't see it logical that businesses aren't 100 percent free to develop their economic activity to have a package that can't be given to their use because of stops”.
“I hope the stops will soon pass and the package will be ready in time. The package will be shown next week, and to whom it is dedicated and how it will be executed”, Aliu added. / EO
