Warning MS: Relief of measures for phase two could be postponed

The pandemic management committee has held a meeting at the Kosovo Government building to analyse measures against the spread of Coronavirus.

Health Ministry spokesman Faik Hoti after the end of the meeting has said that the state of affairs and the results of the measures that have been taken were reported at this meeting.

“was a meeting of the pandemic management committee and have analysed the measures taken so far. At this meeting actors have reported the work so far, and the results and effects of the measures, as well as the warning to continue respecting the measures. I took you from the MS in order to have the situation under control”.

Hoti further said that if the citizens' discipline continues to fall, then there may be postponement of the second opening of or easing the measures.

The “over the course of this week is expected to meet once again, and if there is to be an increase of the number case then the second phase of economic opening could be postponed, but that depends on citizens and businesses. There is a decline in discipline, and the MS urged citizens to be attentive”.

“If the situation worsens, they will be forced to make the second opening delay. It's a manageable situation we have a small number that have ended with fatality as well we have a scale of 71% of cures and to this stage Kosovo managed well”.

“During the meeting have given their opinions and we're not saying there will be delays, but in case discipline falls then the second phase can be postponed. The last three days we have had increases, and this holds us back that we should be careful”, Hoti said.
