The Commission for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has held today a meeting regarding the repatriation of our citizens during the situation created by the Deved-19 pandemic.
After this meeting, MP from the ranks of the Victoryist Vetevendosje Movement Pacolli has told reporters that opposition parties are trying to tarnish the government's work by presenting inaccurate figures, Klan Kosova reports.
The opposition “Deputies aim to cover the government's good work and try to find the void, but to change statistics by disinforming citizens to make it appear that the government's work is not being done properly”.
“We already know that Kosovo is ranked among the first countries in the world to manage the pandemic situation and in this way knowing even the weaknesses we have as a state, we have managed to prevent the spread of the virus”.
Kosovo has faced the return of citizens who have been abroad at the time the borders closed. So we've been trying to manage the return of citizens abroad and the repatriation has gone into line with the situation of these people”.
Pacolli has indicated that more than 2,500 people have been returned to Kosovo so far.
The return number has been made in line with the capacities we have in Kosovo”.
“On the Commission for Foreign Affairs and Diasporas have been presented figures that do not know where they are taken. It was unacceptable to say that citizens were brought to the airport and told God to cry to them.
It's completely misinformation of citizens being done through opposition parties trying to tarnish the work of Government”.
