LVVA chief in Podujevo Bajram Ajeti today has submitted the request to the CEC for holding extraordinary elections in this municipality, also submitting their proposal to the same ones be held on 14 June.
This was made known by an announcement made by the Vetevendosje Movement, the Bessian Centre, through a Facebook post.
“Today, V Movement Centre chairman In Besia, Bajram Ajeti, has submitted our application and proposal for holding elections on the 1406.20. The suspension of municipal elections for mayor has been held on the date 14,03.20, by the president because of preventing the spread of coronavirus. The situation created in the country especially in our municipality where we have no active cases infected with individual19 over a month. We estimate that conditions and circumstances have been created to hold elections. We today submitted our proposal and expect the CEC in co-ordination with health institutions to set the date for the elections”, it is written in the announcement made by LVV50.
