Stirren gas stemmed from a Korean company owned during the first hours of today's day when villagers in surrounding areas were still asleep, said an official in the state of Andra Pradesh.
The flow was one of five thousand tons of tanks that were unattended because of the Coronavirus retributive measures in India that have been implemented since the end of March, writes The Guardian, Periscope.
Images from Indian television channels show people, including women, weeping and standing on the streets of Visachaatnam, an industrial city between Kolkata and Chennai.

Swarupa Rani, a police assistant commissioner in Visachapetnam, said at least 9 people had died and between 300 and 400 others were hospitalised. Another 1,000 and 500 people have been evacuated, mainly from surrounding villages.
But a hospital co-ordinator in that district said that at least 1,000 people had been sent to various hospitals, and that they feared that others might be dead in their homes. /Periscope
