Thaci: Caring for workers becomes even more important under pandemic circumstances

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, on Workers' Day has said he supports demands for better work and workers' rights.

On May 1st, not only do we celebrate but we also confirm our commitment to working every day to improve the position of every worker in Kosovo. As president of the Republic of Kosovo, I support the requirements for better working conditions and the shared concern with workers for implementing legislation protecting their rights. Under the circumstances of pandemic, it becomes even more important to care for workers and their well-being, helping them overcome this crisis with the least consequences and jointly continue building and empowering the Republic of Kosovo.
