The director of the World Health Organization in Bulgaria, Skender Syla, said today that the coronavirus will be present for a longer time and has never been more important for citizens to behave responsibly, implementing safeguards.
Syla said there is an increase in cases at the global level, while in Europe, a decline in cases is being noted.
According to him, the pandemic COVIED 19 did not start at the same time in all states, so it cannot be spoken on a global level of pandemic but more on the basis of countries.
Syla actually mentioned another period during this pandemic, which is the increasing domestic violence in many countries. He also mentioned cases where women have lost their lives during this period because of domestic violence.
“We need to open but with a new normality, with increased alert and alertness”, Syla said, transmits Telegrafi.
Speaking of Bulgaria, where it represents WHO, he said there have been no exponential growth and there is actually a slight drop in cases, but early to ascertain that they have defeated the virus.
He said that emergency health conditions had been declared in Bulgaria, but there were no strict measures to prevent the movement, while people have been placed in quarantine, but in their homes.
