Suhareka pending results for 24 people, nine of them are updated

The Suhareka municipality is awaiting results for samples of its 24 inhabitants, who are tested today. Their results are expected to be released in the evening.

Suhareka Mayor Bali Muharremaj has told Express that nine people will be asked today to see if they've recovered.

According to him, Suhareka currently has 31 active cases with COVID-19.

The situation is good in Suhareka. Today we're waiting for the results for 24 samples. The condition of the infected is stable. Nine people will be asked today to see if they've recovered. Currently, we have 31 active cases in Suhareka. A total of 36 cases have been confirmed, one changed lives and five have recovered. I'm believing these nine who are going to be tested to get negative and drop the number”, Muharremaj told Express.

Otherwise, seven new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed last night. Positive cases are contact cases from the Prizren, Vitita and South Mitrovica municipality.

IKSHPH has also announced the recovery of 22 patients.

“Today, April 30, 2020, has healed twenty-two ( (22) patients based on O recommendations If two samples result negative with at least one day's distance. The total number of cures to date is a total of two hundred seventy-one (271) cases”, says the report.

Since the outbreak of pandemic, 22 patients have died in Kosovo. The total number of infected has reached 806, while 271 patients have recovered.
