The Student Centre returned to quarantine with the Kosovo Government's decision to deploy returnees, following the spread of Coronavirus.
The complaint about conditions and treatment at this center did not exist among those who stayed there for two weeks until the quarantine lasted.
Even though the situation has been well managed, a 26-year-old Gnjilane suicide was suspected on Sunday.
quarantine manager Valdet Hashan in an interview for Online Economics, said that after Sunday's case, the situation at the Center is tense emotionally.
He has demanded that this case be investigated to the end, even saying that all those staying in quarantine can seek help from volunteers.
“Situate at the Student Centre is being well managed except for the case that occurred in the early hours where a 26-year-old man from Gjilan lost his life. Pandemia is a global issue and it is not the goal that citizens who are out of town not let go back home. We're among the rare countries we've allowed to enter on the condition that they quarantine”.
So we pray to all those who are inside that for whatever need they have, we have the volunteer team who, in addition to offering food, do fill out and form for the needs of doctors and we and the Health Ministry fill out their form. After the incident, the situation is tense in an emotional way and the case is under investigation and should be investigated by the end of”, he added.
Hashani has said that 150 more citizens from Scandinavian are expected to arrive at Pristina Airport on Tuesday, while another 120 are expected on May 8th.
According to Hashan, all those who do not testify with airport documentation on their problems are quarantined, while others with chronic illnesses are sent home.
Hashani indicated that only during Tuesday have 45 people been tested who, in case they turn negative with Covid-19, then all go home.
Today, at 18 o'clock and 15 o'clock, we expect aircraft from Scandinavian countries where we will have 150 Kosovo citizens, but it doesn't mean that they can all be quarantined, if they have chronic diseases sent directly home. And all those who don't testify with documentation at the airport on the problems he has with a photocopy, then he quarantines”.
We've had 45 tests for the Ovid 19 test today, and if these result negative, then tomorrow they're home free. On May 8th, we are expected to expect another flight to Kosovo with 120 people coming to Kosovo, who will come here”, Hashan added.
Hashani has said the IKSHP has five categories of persons who are released without reaching quarantine yet.
According to him, being released from quarantine cannot be done by private means and unless they are tested for Coronavirus, EO reports.
“The IKSP has five recommendations or five categories of people released without reaching quarantine yet. It's about people over 70 years of age, people who are chronically ill and who are unmanaged in quarantine. People under 18 but who don't have health care with pregnant women, people who are directly involved in the Coronavirus war, such as doctors, policemen and KSF, these are categories that are released and they go from the airport under police escorting them home”.
All the people who enter quarantine and are delayed because they have already brought the documentation, then we prepare the documentation and send it to the Ministry of Health and the document is usually issued within a day for their release. Their release cannot be done by private means that have not been tested after 14 days, but primary care institutions are obliged to bring ambulances, and police units carry them home”, Hashan added.
