Serbia's government decided on Thursday to reopen its borders, after having closed them on March 15th, to fight the spread of the new choreography, which causes COVID-19.
Previously, Serbian authorities required that citizens who returned from other countries be entitled to a negative tests of COVID-19, no older than 72 hours, or were forced to go into isolation for a period of 14 days.
But the measure will no longer be worth it.
After improving the situation with the pandemic, the government decided to reopen the border points and allow the entry of all people into the Republic of Serbia, without a mandatory Corleone test and approval of the commission”, it said in a statement of the government of Serbia.
Under measures against pandemic, Serbia had also closed restaurants, cafes, schools and gardens. But these measures have been removed, and now people are required only to keep their physical distance and wear masks when they are outside the home.
Serbia has recorded about 11,000 cases with COVID-19, of which 237 have been fatal.
