Catania's Court of Appeals has released Moses Habiline, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for drug trafficking.
According to Italian media, he will stay with a relative of his in Sicily. Moses Habilaj and Florian Habilaj are accused of structured criminal drug trafficking groups from Albania towards Sicilia in Italy. Moses Habilaj was arrested in 2017.
His name is linked to Saimir Tahiri, the former interior minister, not only as relatives but also suspected as collaborators together in drug trafficking. Both have open court processes in two different states from each other, reports Lapsi.al.
The Habilaj group is accused of carrying drugs worth 20m euros from Albania towards Italy.
