It is recently reported that worldwide the number of cases has reached 5 million and 197 thousand and 863, while the death toll has risen to 334 thousand and 680. Even the number of cured patients has increased to 2 million and 82 thousand and 950 cured patients.
The United States of America has the highest rates of cases and deaths. In the U.S. total, there are 1 million and 620 thousand and 902 infected and 96 thousand 354 deaths from COVID-19.
Russia ranks second with 317 thousand and 554 cases, but with a low death rate. Russia reports 3 grand and 99 deaths from COVID-19. The ranking has changed, where Brazil has moved to third place. Brazil has 310 thousand and 921 cases and 20 thousand and 82 dead. Spain ranks fourth, totaling 2820 thousand and 117 cases and 27 thousand and 940 dead.
Then comes the United Kingdom, which reports about 250 thousand and 908 cases and 36 thousand and 42 people dead. Italy ranks sixth with 228 thousand and 6 cases and 32 thousand and 486 dead. France ranks after Italy with 181 thousand 826 cases and 28 thousand and 215 deaths from COVID-19.
