Raka: If the measures are not respected there will be economic increase in coronary cases

Kosovo has won the battle against corruption virus, but not war. Relief of measures does not mean victory over the virus and returning to normal. The country will not have the opportunity to return to normality, as it has been on March 12th, a day before confirming the first cases. Microbiologist Lull Raka claims that the complete disappearance of the Covid-19 pandemic can only occur after the vaccine is discovered, which can last up to a year.

Raka says that it is expected that the following days will have a slight increase in cases that he considers we must prepare to live together with the virus, but with maximum care.

Raka is critical of disrespecting the measures of the last days. According to him, presenting the least number of cases does not mean citizens relax and return to normal. And if the same will do so, he warns that there will be economic growth in the following days.

With what we've mentioned in recent days, especially over the last two weeks it's been that the virus is still here first. And we didn't win the war, we won the battle. A phase one battle, which has been manageable. And if you look at the numbers of hospitalized cases and deaths compared to other states, it means the main goal of the rhetorical measures has been to maintain and not exceed Kosovo's manageable capacity. But that does not mean that the release of measures does not understand victory over the virus and return to normal. There is no return to normality on the 12th of March, a day before the first case was confirmed, he adds.

Microbiologist Lul Raka considers that for the massive appearance of citizens in open environments, the results will not be observed in 24 hours, but the consequences of their neglect will be observed 14 days later.

I appeal to be careful, because normally we can't be closed until we find the vaccine and we need to clear the measures. But this release of measures must go with the responsibility of citizens to implement preventive measures. In order for there to be no enzyme growth. In the autumn season Kosovo will face two enemies, the Coronavirus one and the seasonal flu.

This means providing time for diagnostic tests that will be traced, identified, and isolated to provide additional additional additional capacity, first-intensive respiratory care. And that's why I think that by preparing health capacity, by being more empowered than we have today, I think our answer will be much more efficient. If during these days there will be a large number of showing cases, Raka considers that strict measures must continue until the end of the month.

Microbiologist Lul Raka, yesterday has been declared “Europe of the Year” for 2020. The award was shared by the European Union Office in Kosovo on Europe Day.

Raka is sharing this award with all citizens of Kosovo because, according to him, they have followed the recommendations of health experts in fighting the virus.
