The presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stressed the importance of co-operation in developing coronary vaccines and therapies, the Kremlin press service said after a telephone conversation.
The two presidents discussed in detail the problems of fighting the coronary pandemic.
Putin and Erdogan stressed the importance of further co-operation between the two countries' respective agencies in developing vaccines and therapy for treatment of the infection, the statement said.
Putin thanked Turkish partners for their help in organising the repatriation of Russian citizens and for humanitarian aid in a large number of Russian regions.
Moreover, Putin and Erdogan called for intensified efforts to implement Russian-Turkish agreements on Idlib in Syria and expressed concern for the worsening situation in Libya.
The two presidents also discussed the current aspects of bilateral trade and economic co-operation, and agreed to continue regular dialogue between the two countries at different levels.
