The Social Democrat Party, in the case of May 1st, says that worldwide, finds workers in front of the war against the COVID-19 virus ill-paid and secure.
The huge majority of what are being called essential workers are employees of services, ill-paid, health insurance often without the necessary means for confronting the pandemin”, the PSD communiqué says.
According to the PSD communiqué, the current government, not having abandoned the left past and promises of progressive tax, has also followed the conservative neoliberal model even when trying to respond to the pandemic.
“The complex criteria, the low amount will affect the small number of beneficiaries, and then very little of total spending. As a result, we will not have adult aggregate requests to recover from the tattoo of the drop”, said the communique.
This is the PSD's complete communique:
A total of 134 years ago, Chicago's workers went on strike against rampant exploitation on May 1, 1886, for the eight - hour day of work. This day is evidence that the achievements up to date are not gifts coming from capital generation, but results from efforts and organisation.
Worldwide, May 1 finds workers in front of the war against the COVID/19 virus. The overwhelming majority of what are being called essential workers are employees of services, mispaid, health insurance, and often without the means to cope with pandemics. It's doctors, cleaners, bakers, nurses, and policemen who are today beaming life and hope.
But hasn't it always been like this? It's the work of the worker who built the world. The bridge, rock and cities; the factory and the plant; it is the profit from the work and work of the workers for investments in science that enabled the age-old discoveries.
Labor is a condition for existence, so it's an opportunity for equality. Without labour resistance, neither would the democratic rights as the right to vote, until recently they were related to economic status; and the rights in the field of gender equality were the working women at the heart of battle. Pandemia taught us that neoliberal interventions like those that exposed health to the market are non-human policies that have to end.
The combined and universal element of this pandemic around the globe are workers. Their place in the social structure echos: ” exists only one world”. On the other hand, we have the state: divisive, competitive, but oppressive. Pandemia, not rarely seen as an opportunity to take control of human bodies, occupying democratic space and affecting human rights and freedoms. Unfortunately, this time there is the name of our country Kosovo.
The current government, not that it has abandoned the left past and promises of progressive tax, has also followed the conservative neoliberal model even when trying to respond to pandemic. The complex criteria, the low amount will affect the small number of beneficiaries, and then very little of the total spending. As a result, we will not have adult aggregate requests to recover from the tip of the fall.
