The Association of Patients' Rights in Kosovo ʹPAK emphasises that with deep concern it has accepted news of the death of a quarantined youth at the Student Centre.
While the circumstances of the quarantine and his death are unclear, we as an association require the relevant institutions to quickly whiteen this case”.
It's very important to know if there were individual or institutional concessions during the quarantine and whether his death could be prevented. If there have been concessions, there should be any who are responsible. It's totally unacceptable for someone to die in the hands of the state if such a thing could be prevented”.
This association considers that facts such as these should be included in the investigation of the occasion:
- Did he have a medical and psychological examination before being quarantined?
- Has he presented any written or oral evidence that he has a health problem?
- Has the quarantine officer received any information from the deceased, his family, or others that he has a mental problem? Hey...
The PRAK points out that it expects from justice bodies to come up with concrete results as soon as possible.
