Powerful winds damage electricity, more in Dukagjin

“Despite difficulties due to pandemic, numerous KED teams have been mobilised in advance to cope with strong winds that are causing net destruction. They're equipped with all available machines and are intervening in areas affected by these atmospheric conditions”, the report says.

According to the announcement, the winds are mostly concentrated in the Dukagjini region, but are spreading to other parts of Kosovo, as in Pristina and Prizren.

KEDS has asked citizens not to approach electricity networks if they see the same are damaged.

“KEDS appeals to citizens to co-operate with field teams and not to approach the electricity network if they see it damaged but to report it through the Free Call Centre: 0800 791 00, as well as through company social networks”, the announcement said.
