The Kosovo Police Regional Directorate in Pec has announced that recently added numbers of citizens who have not respected the decisions of domestic institutions, for which police and municipal inspectors are obliged to initiate legal procedures.
Police say that since the start of implementation of the operational command “operational preparedness for preventing COVID-19”, it has done its work in the best and most professional manner possible and with all its capacities.
A special thanks goes to citizens as well, because they have after understanding, patience without a husband, and very productive in preventing and combating the Devvid-19 disease caused by coronary. Kosovo police have close co-operation with local institutions, and this good co-operation of jobs has led to concrete successes. However, even in spite of good results so far, if a lack of respect for the preventive actions imposed by the country's institutions could be damaged by joint efforts as well as the success we have achieved so far. Since the date 04.05.2020 has come into force for the prevention of COVID-19, but a growing number of citizens who have not respected the decisions of the country's institutions, for which municipal police and inspectors have been obliged to initiate legal procedures, have recently been observed. From the date of relief of measures on the part of the Ministry of Health, when the first phase has begun to this day, 11 (11) cases of non-action in the Health Deposit during Epidemi have been initiated 8 (eight) cases during the week alone. Suspects have been arrested, and in most cases the State Prosecutor has ordered a 48-hour ban. And for failing to respect movement schedules, do not wear protective equipment (carbons, gloves) and for not keeping distance ʹ 189 cases of”, the communiqué says.
Police in Pec estimate that joint legal acts of institutions and responsible and co-operative behavior of citizens, in respect of legal provisions for preventing infectious diseases, have produced positive results.
We appeal to citizens to show high awareness and civic accountability in respecting the preventive measures imposed by the country's institutions even during this stage and in the future so that we can cross this pandemic situation together”, the communiqué says.
