They were being transported on a small military plane that reportedly crashed because of technical problems when it left the city of Santa Cruz.
In addition to four Spaniards, two crew members died in the accident. Six lifeless bodies are being kept in the morgue of a local hospital, writes “Daily Mail”, Report Express.
The names of the four Spaniards are Francisco Jose Gallegos Gonzalez, Alba Aparcio Fornas, Yandira Oliverra Velarde and Deliz Salvaera Valverde. Two of them were husband and wife.
They would later switch the plane to leave Bolivia in Spain. Bolivian Defence Minister Louis Fernando Lopez expressed condolences to the families of the victims through a post in Titter.
Authorities have begun investigating to reveal the circumstances of this accident. One victim reportedly originally had signs of life but later died in the hospital.
