This municipality continues to have nine active people with COVID-19, until 63 people have recovered.

Health Director at the Petit Loci Community told Kosova Prees that they have no new cases now two weeks, while stressing that the number of healed persons is increasing.

We have spent more than two weeks entering relative calm, so to speak, and fortunately despite the many tests that have been done in the town of Pec for the last two weeks, the situation remains good, we have no new cases that result positive with COVID-19. While, we are dealing with cases which have been active and from day to day the number of cures is increasing compared to the number of affected”, he said.

The Peja municipality has had 74 people with COVID-19, of whom two have died, 63 have recovered, while nine people continue to be active with coronarys.

Loci said the situation of nine people is stable.

“In the entire territory of the Pec municipality, we have 74 people affected, of whom there are two dead, 63 healed, and nine continue to be active that we believe in within days will result as negatives and cures. What we would achieve to the climax of the recovery of all affected patients and believe that we will not have new cases in the days ahead... the situation has generally been all affected in the Pec municipality in good health, without symptoms highlighted except for some who have been laid out at the Infectious Clinic in Pristina, but they are now released and being treated in a capacity in their homes in good state of health”, he said.

While Peja for two weeks does not have new cases with COVID-19, Loci says ease of measures should be done gradually.

I'm not a follower of it so that it can go faster than the field experts at IKSC. They make the necessary assessment on the basis of the situation in general throughout the country. We're in a position to go the way the Ministry of Health has been following them so far and not to be hasty because this good situation goes on and doesn't turn into boomerang, in favor of COVID-19”, he said.

The Peja municipality has 74 people with COVID-19, while at the country level the number has gone to 1,000 and 32 cases, with 29 deaths.
