In the afternoon hours, on May 17, 2020 (day), testing has been conducted for Covid-19 of a man from President Stevo Pendarovski's security team, employed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with what resulted positive. The president's security member is part of the broader security team, which means there has been no direct communication with the president. Last week he took advantage of his annual vacation, while for the last time he was at work on May 11, 2020 (Monday)”.

After the epidemiology survey, it was reportedly confirmed that 11 people who were in contact with the person who resulted in positive should be tested additionally.

All 11 people have been tested and resulted negative in Codvid-19, but also remain in property until May 25th, until the 14-day incubation expire, informed by the president's cabinet.
