Kosovo's Road Transport Association has warned bus protests.
This if their three needs, related to the assistance prior to the start of road transport, are not met.
They've requested subsidisation of road transport companies based on O protocol. BSH, and as they say, as is happening in all EU states, writes news.net.
“It is required by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, respectively, by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, which, with the creation of conditions and ease of measures for free movement of citizens, will also be allowed to resume work in the travel road sector”, their demands are further said.
Full announcement from this association:
The Steering Transport Association Steering Council held a meeting on May 15, 2020. At this meeting the current situation and the consequences of the David-19 pandemic in this sector were considered. Following discussions that took place in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, the Association's Steering Council made the decision to address these requirements in the direction of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo:
The government of the Republic of Kosovo before making a decision to resume work in terms of passenger road transport, to issue an administrative directive under Law No.04/ L-179 for subvention of road transport companies to the Republic of Kosovo, relying on WHO protocol, as it is happening in all countries of the region and the EU.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment as soon as the travel order continues, eliminating tax payments for travel order.
It is required by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, respectively, that with the creation of conditions and ease of measures for free movement of citizens, it should also be allowed to resume work in the travel road transport sector.
The Society's Steering Council requires insistent government to meet the legitimate high-level requirements so as to avoid further forms of reaction (bus station) that can be organised by all Kosovo centres in Pristina.
