Germany's Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian through a joint statement have called for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia to resume immediately under the leadership of the European Union.
LDK Secretary Arba Abashi for Klan Kosova has said the LDK appreciates Germany and France's interest in starting this process.
“Within the framework of the governing programme, the LDK-led Government in its fundamental objectives also has the conclusion of dialogue with Serbia with mutual recognition between the two countries”.
“This means taking responsibility to advance the dialogue process, in close co-operation with the EU and the US, not allowing change of borders and exchange of territory and facilitating all circumstances for the start of the” dialogue.
“We appreciate Germany and France's interest in starting this process, as the EU leadership countries. Germany has taken a consistent stance on not changing borders that are important for a possible and successful” dialogue, Abrashi has said.
