Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has reiterated his request for elections to be held.
Kurti has said this year will be extremely important for the third decade of the century, and here he mentioned elections that he said would take place in many countries in the Balkans and also in the United States of America.
In an interview for Eye Tv, incumbent Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has once again stressed that Vetevendosje has doubled support.
Kurti said they have over 52%.
When asked whether his prime minister ends up with the Constitutional Court's decision, he said no, as well as he spoke of a double support and the gap between the will of the people and representation in institutions.
“Of course not because we are the subject that emerged the winner, the Government that has lost half parliamentary support, but the government that is led by that winning subject has doubled its support, and according to a survey conducted between 13 and 20 March we are in quotas of more than 52 %. And, on the other hand, Government, although in office, is the most supported government in Kosovo since the liberation of 1999. So there is a paradox where the gap between the will of the people and representation in the” institutions has been spread, Kurti has declared.
