Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu, who is also in self-issuance, has told Kosova Preris that the health of all persons who are in self-awareness is good and none of them have symptoms.
He said the councils of the IKSHPK and the Ministry of Health are being followed until the publication of the result for European Integrity Ministry official.
“In self-awareness, following the announcement that a European Integrity Ministry official has had close contact with a person who has recently been identified with COVID-19, we are the prime minister's cabinet with the prime minister as well as the minister of European Integrations with his cabinet. [...] Our health is fine. We don't have any distressing symptoms. This decision has come as a result of the Health Ministry's directive that we be self-inflicted as a precautionary measure, since there is still no confirmed result if the European Ministry of Integration official is or is not infected”, Kryeziu told Kosovas Press.
The result for the government official is expected to be released during the afternoon or in the evening hours, while depending on this there will be recommendations for Prime Minister Kurti, Minister Reka and their cabinets.
The Kosovo Government spokesman stated that if the recommendations are to be continued with self-isolation then they will respect it.
Kryeziu announced that recent contact with the suspected official as being affected by COVID-19 was during Friday day.
The last “was during the week we left behind, respectively, during Friday day. [...] Initially, we are awaiting publication of the results and after the results of the official's test from the Ministry of Integration and depending on the results according to the recommendations of the IKSHPK and the Health Ministry we will respect the actions that must be undertaken”, Kryeziu came in.
Kryeziu said that despite not being at work today, they are in constant communication with the prime minister and the other staff and assured that all planned works are under way.
We've kept the intensity of the work. Work volume is the same. We're all in touch with each other as well as with the prime minister through different communication channels. Everyone is carrying out and respecting the tasks given despite the challenge that we cannot be in an office where the flow of information and communication would be significantly better anyway, and everyone is available at any moment by necessity or request”, Kryeziu concluded.
