Kurt, however, has indicated that even if there are protests, he expects them not to be violent.
In an interview for Eye Tv, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said he engages in peaceful solutions to the problems, while speaking of possible protests following the Constitutional Court's decision about the new government or elections.
He did not speak whether to organise protests, but said they make citizens. However, Kurt pointed out that even if there are protests, they will not be violent.
“protests make citizens, make our activists. I don't know what the civic and Vetevendosje response will be. We must read the Constitutional Court's decision. I'm willing to accept any court ruling which is interpretation of the Constitution, but I'm not willing to accept the constitution's” writing, he stated.
I can say that I am always committed to peaceful solutions and methods we are peaceful, not violent. I can't believe there will be any need for any tension or destabilisation that, besides, I believe in professionalism, in the impartiality of the Constitutional Court judges, even though they face a presidential pressure. I believe they will make the right decision and merit. There may be so many things to protest, but I don't think we should worry that they'll be violent”, he said.
