He has said unemployment and crime and corruption are two problems he faced when he came to the helm of the Kosovo government.
Kurti has talked about measures he has taken as a government to fight organised crime and corruption.
He has said the governing programme is organised on the basis of two priorities, justice and job creation.
As part of the fight against crime and corruption, Kurti has cited the dismissal of public enterprise boards due to millions of losses in these companies.
Kurti said job opening is the government's priority he runs, including attracting foreign investment. In this direction he has mentioned that Kosovo has new populations and, as such, has good conditions for attracting foreign investment, although he acknowledged that there is much work to be done in this direction.
Kurti has said he wants the normalisation of Kosovo-Serbia relations and that dialogue should continue. In this direction he has cited teams that he has formed to be part of this process.
“No dialogue with maps on the table, no president on maps. The final outcome of the talks should be mutual recognition”, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said.
