The incumbent prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today held a telephone conversation with Albanian President Ilir Meta.
At first, they discussed the situation with COVID-19 in Kosovo and Albania, the actions the two countries have taken in preventing the spread and management of infections caused by the Corona virus, and the co-operation they have had during the confrontation with pandemic.
Kurti announced President Meta's recent decisions on facilitating measures and gradual reopening of the economy.
On the other hand, during the discussion, the importance and need for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries on the trade and economic level, but also regional and international co-operation with the aim of representing, promoting and protecting common interests.
In the end, both expressed commitment and willingness to have continued communication in the service of development, strengthening and advancing co-operation between the two countries.
